We offer ecological and adventure programmes for teenagers, as well as the entire family, plus individual rest in the country.

Our idea is active and informative travelling in the very heart of nature, not just in the out-of-town. We like searching for derelict and forgotten roads, walking in the dark, marching barefooted on any road, in any season and in any weather, running on the snow and swimming in an ice-hole. Everybody can do all this; and there is no need to receive a long training.

All we need is just give each other a chance to push away our fears and be ourselves in the open world to remember again how intimately we are connected with every thing around us. Let us be simply, interested and full of hope that we are going to succeed.

Yet, meanwhile we are keen on learning (or recalling) some practical skills useful for anyone who is dreaming of living in the wild. This includes orientating (with and without a map or a GPS), chopping firewood, making a fireplace or stoking an oven, and cooking with a minimum at hand. Besides, we learn how to recognize and collect edible mushrooms and herbs, to build a shelter of branches or a dugout… And what medical plants could help us should someone feel unwell or get cut their finger on a knife.

We are stuck to real field conditions. We cook on the campfire, wash ourselves in the lake or in a bathhouse (after the Russian manner), sleep in sleeping bags and walk a lot. So joining us also means you understand how much you like and support of that lifestyle.

What is most important, “Fenevo” is not a traditional educational camp. It is, above all, a good company for children of all ages, up to 99+, just to hang out and have fun for a while. It is a place where you can relax after a hectic city life full of boring rules and timetables. We do not care much about special timing in our life. A day programme might vary, depending on weather or our mood, or even on some spontaneous ideas. We like eating fully; we are not for staying on same place for too long, we are noisy and funny. Unlike other children expeditions and summer camps, “Fenevo” welcomes the entire family, including little children. All programmes suppose discounts for children and for families with two and more kids.

Regular events:
Every year, in June and August, we offer two-week family-and-teenager programmes called «Secrets of Pskov forests». On school holydays, in spring and autumn, we organize see-sighting trips to Pskov and Vologda Provinces, and Vologda in winter, on New Year holidays, we offer funny programme for children and grown-ups with quizzes, orienteering championships, bonfires and fireworks, swimming in icy water and running on snow. Advanced trips to old/ancient villages, walking on bogs and marshes, meetings with local scouts and farmers are also available by individual appeal.
